its-differentJewish children are taught that the first job G-d gave Adam was to name all the animals. From that story we glean that words are important. And that they have meaning. We are taught that at the time of the moshiach (messiah) the lion will lie down with the lamb. If media started crowing nonstop that lambs and lions are cuddling togerher in a pen at the DC zoo, one would have to call them liars. Reality would refute that. Peace hasn’t found a home in this world and it would be sheer foolishness or even dangerous to believe their nonsense.So why do we accept the language the Red Rubbish( formerly known as Progressives) chooses to win their political battles?

In the book the The Rebbe by Joseph Telushkin, the biographer cites certain virtues and behaviors the Rebbe espoused as crucial. One of them was the importance of using words correctly and positively. According to the author, Rabbi Schneerson even suggested that Israeli hospitals change their name from bet cholim, House of the Sick to a more positive name; House of Healing (bet Refuachim) which described its purpose better and would give people more hope.

The people of the United States have been confronted with a lexicon promoted by the Left and its minions that redefine words so that they no longer have meaning. Now bastardizing a language isn’t enough, they want to rewire children for a political agenda that will, at best, confuse them and at worst harm them. The handout teachers got in Omaha promoted using “non-sexist” language like calling boys and girls purple penguins and allowing each student to choose the pronoun he or she prefers in addressing oneself. Got that?

here Note the name. Gender does not exist on a spectrum, just like marriage isn’t between a couple of the same sex. That doesn’t mean they can’t live together or have a civil union. Historically, marriage is a bond between a man and a woman in order to procreate and raise a family.

According to the thesurus, diversity means variance or dissmilarity. Instead of respecting the differnces among us, whether it’s cultures or individuals; our government, Lefty NGOs and assorted political groups demand that we pretend we’re all the same, when just looking at the differnces in members of any family refutes that ridiculous notion.

The word apartheid comes from the Afrikanner language of South Africa. It was a rigorous system of separating the races. Israel is called an ” apartheid” nation when it is as inclusive as the USA or more so. There are Muslim Arabs, Christians, Druze, and all shades of complexions in the IDF, government, and in every neighborhood. Signs and paperwork are printed in Hebrew and Arabic. Zionism is not racism, but an answer to the almost universal anti- Semitism of Europe and the Islamic world.

We are told by our president, Barack Hussein Obama, that the Islamic State of the Levant or ISIL is not Islamic. Well, if it’s in the title of that dangerous and murderous organization then that’s what it is. And when we’re told to believe that beheading “infidels”, slaughtering Christians, and taking young Christian girls as sex slaves is not the real “religion of peace” maybe those female sex slaves were really purple penguins as defined by the Red Rubbish. “Khrushchev USA 1959

Redeeming a Country

Yom Kippur’s over, fasting is over, and the prayers for a good and righteous year are over. We prayed for ourselves, our people, and our country. It looks like my cat answered my prayers, but not my government. It’s time for our country to redeem itself.The Wraith Queen The Wraith Queen

My cat Lucy was the kitty from hell. Her claws came out if you passed her while she was napping and her claws came out if she was sitting on your lap. She hissed if we didn’t feed her on time and hissed when she was full. We nicknamed her the Wraith Queen and even made up a special song. Suddenly, over the last couple of weeks, she turned docile. I asked my husband if he thought it was possible that she was communicating with another wavelength and understands that she has to change. G-d loves all his creatures and wants the best for her too.

Our government, on the other hand, hasn’t changed its belligerence one iota. Now it doesn’t even appear to care about the welfare of its citizens.Ebola? Our president sends more than 3000 military personnel to “fight” it. Perhaps he thinks he can drop medicine from drones on the germs. Ebola has been welcomed into the country because the president has refused to stop flights from West African countries. He did make sure to stop flights to Israel for “protection.” The fighting was 25 kms away Flights to very dangerous hotspots like Syria and Yemen were continued.. When the prime minister of Israel was asked to send military help to fight ebola he said he couldn’t risk the welfare of his country. Citizens concerned about illegals coming in with diseases that haven’t been seen in the USA for decades like TB.are called racists. Meanwhile, it looks like the children dying or paralyzed live in states where illegal children were transported to live.( see map below HT the Last Refuge) So what can we make of these horrible and irrational decisions of our government officials?

When my grandparents came here in the late 1800’s each person was examined on Ellis Island and if there was a problem that person was sent back. My great grandfather was sent back and then had to reenter after his eye problem was resolved. Now one can be sick, illegal,or a criminal because none of it matters to our government. So one has to ask if this is being done puposefully to destroy our country. When a traitorous deserter, Bergdahl, is swapped for five big name terrorists,who will most likely return to the battlefield to maim and murder more :infidels, while a Marine sits in a Mexican jail for a wrong turn, one has to wonder. To top off this whole chaotic mess, Barack Hussein Obama sends a thank you note to the imam of the mosque of the latest Islamic killer, “Your service is a powerful example of the powerful roots of the Abrahamic faiths and how our communities can come together with shared peace with dignity and a sense of justice.” Isn’t it odd that note was sent now for some help given during a tornado last year?”
Personally I believe our government, which includes all the bureaucrats who believe they’re above the law, should take a lesson from our cat Lucy. Truth in Humor

The rabbi calls men up for aliyahs,”Jack Goldstein, Yakov Fineman,and Norman Israel”. “He’s dead,” my father says in a loud stage whisper. A young woman in the row in front of us hears and starts laughing Pretty soon the whole row was giggling.My father’s comment was funny because there was more than a grain of truth in it. All you had to do was look around the geriatric center where services were being held.
Comedy is funny when it is based in truth. Sarah Silverman saying I love my vagina or Lena Dunham walking around naked is not funny. Personally it’s just pathetic. A riff on how the Obama White House came up with the made up name Khorason could end with some one saying, ” It sounds, a little Spanish. With that name we’ll be able to get the Hispanic voters.” What happened to comedy in this country? Political correctness.

When I was growing up comedy was king. Ed Sullivan always had on a comedian like Rodney Dangerfield, Henny Youngman, or Jackie Mason. Johnny Carson gave Joan Rivers her big break as well as George Carlin. Mr Carlin had a classic riff on “the 7 words not allowed to say on television”. Now we have almost seven topics that are not allowed to be touched. Race, homosexuality (of any gender),Muslims,women,global warming, Obama and his minions. Once political correctness takes hold humour disappears. Even in private converstions people watch what they say, afraid that something could be misconstrued and they could be labeled “haters.” or the kiss of death, “racists.” Political correctness is an anathema to freedom.

Our Muslim “friends” are always kvetching about being insulted. We are to believe that after raping and murdering thousands of Christians it is a “religion of peace.” It appears that one of the most verboten truths is saying that a Muslim convert cutting off someone’s head is an act of terrorism. It’s just more “workplace violence” and whole families of illegals are “children” that were welcomed by our government. When new definitions are given to words like marriage,which happens to have a long and successful history, we are supposed to accept the new social engineering and not even make fun of it. Laughing is good for our souls. In a statist government we’re not supposed to have one.

Truth isn’t necessarily pretty, but humor is a healthy way to look at it. Even in the terrible times of Nazi Germany Jews made jokes. In order to make someone laugh, a grain of truth has to be mined. ( not mimed) I’ve always said I’d rather laugh than cry. Lately I’ve been doing a lot of crying. I say the hell with political correctness. I’d rather laugh.

5775: The Year of the New Jew

Wednesday evening Rosh HaShanah, the Jewish New Year, begins. Unlike January 1 the secular New Year, it’s not celebrated with raucus parties and televising a young drunken crowd in Times Square, herded into animal-like stalls, waiting for the ball to drop for the nascent year. Judaism marks the years more solemnly. Since, according to the Jewish calendar our New Year will be 5775, we have been doing this for a while so perhaps we should pay attention and declare this the year of the new Jew.

Jewish children are taught that on Rosh Ha Shanah Ha Shem ( G-d) opens the Book of Life and decrees what will happen to each individual. At this time, and until Yom Kippur, we have a chance to make amends and start anew to behave in a better way, so that our Judge and Creator will have mercy. Observing our political scene and the many Jewish organizations who don’t firmly stand for Jews,Israel, or the American ideals I believe we are in dire need to make changes.

It is time for Jews to stand up for themselves. We have to stop acting ashamed,embarrassed, and afraid. We have done nothing wrong, unless of course, civilizing the world is wrong. Jews don’t cut off people’s heads, murder their wives and daughters,or make slaves of anyone who doesn’t believe the way they do. The Jewish land of Israel is an oasis of freedom in a desert of Islamic totalitarianism. So why do we cower and compromise with those who want us gone? Why do we negotiate and give credence to organizations that want us to disappear from the face of the earth?

President Jefferson knew that in order to trade and transport freely on the seas we’d need a special navy force called the “marines” to fight tne Muslim barbarians that captured Americans as hostages and slaves. Is that the contribution he spoke about?

Jews. on the other hand, have contributed from the very beginning of this country. Without the banker Haim Solomon there wouldn’t have been an American Revolution. Many southern cities like Charleston, South Carolina were enriched and settled by Jews. The next time some smart aleck proposes more boycott derangement syndrome action against Israel we should suggest he throw away his jeans since they were invented by Levi Strauss, another American Jew. And how about Hollywood? Instead of cringing and denying when some racist screeches “the Jews own Hollywood” we should proudly declare they invented Hollywood, the fashion industry, polio shots, and the NAACP.

Meir Kahane, who was murdered by a Muslim terrorist, was right. Jews have to protect themselves, but at the same time we must be proud of who we are. We are a people who bring innovation and creativity to the world. Robin Williams was asked by a German reporter why there were so few German comedians.
