About Pamela

I have been around the block more than a few times and I see the streets getting dirtier and dirtier. I left the country in 1973 and moved to Israel. There, I became a founding settler of Yamit, and became a victim of the first catastrophic mistake of swapping land for "peace. I have a masters degree in psychology and am an autism professional. My book Love and Betrayl can be found on Amazon and at iuniverse.

Stan the Man

The  Jewish Republican Club of Broward County Florida invited Mr. Stanley Tate to speak at our monthly meeting. Although Stanley Tate isn’t a household name, maybe it should b;e because he’s living proof of the American  Dream.  Unlike many Jews who immigrated to this country, Mr. Tate is a born and bred Floridian who worked himself up from a  poor farm boy to a behind the scenes mover and shaker in the backrooms of power.

What he spoke about  was extremely disconcerting and should frighten us all. He declared that he has never seen  antisemitism in this country like he is seeing today.  He added that he was afraid that our children and grandchildren will suffer the same fate of the European Jews in the last century. He asserted that the Geneva peace initiative and the easing of the Iranian sanctions are strategies guaranteed to destroy Israel before destroying the USA. He was adamant that there is no way Israel can win a war against Iran. To our dismay this came directly from a man who has a personal relationship with BIbi Natanyahu as well as other world leaders and is old enough to remember WWII.

Happy New Year

Love and Betrayal is the title of my novel because I  thought of its common elements.  Love and betrayal is  part of the human condition. We have all loved and found ourselves betrayed, or perhaps been the betrayer. Each time it happens; whether it is on a personal, political, or spiritual level the shock and pain is almost unbearable.

I hope that you all are blessed with more love than betrayal  this new year and experience more joy than sorrow. Remember, when you are faced with the bad, just like Danielle, have courage, pray to your G-d, and put one foot in front of the other.  There is no other way.

 Happy New Year!

The Demise of a Republic

It is part of our historical record that after the Constitutional Convention Benjamin Franklin was asked by a woman if we had a monarchy or a republic and Franklin famously answered, ” A republic if you can keep it.” It doesn’t look like we have. That is not a hyperbole.
